Educators for Social Responsibility Metropolitan Area (ESR Metro) is a non-profit organization active in New York City public schools since 1982. ESR Metro aims to educate parents, students and teachers about intercultural understanding and peaceful resolution of conflict, and to sensitize young people about issues of civil society. The projects are divided into two areas: Conflict Resolution & Diversity, and Social Awareness & Action.

The website has articles about ESR Metro activities, an archive of journals, and an extensive collection of lesson plans for teachers.
