The European Cultural Foundation (ECF) was established as a non-profit organization in 1954, for the purpose of adding a cultural and humanistic dimension to the process of European integration. Currently the Foundation is supported by 23 national committees in EU countries, including Poland. The organization promotes artistic and cultural activity, especially international activity. ECF priorities include supporting intercultural dialogue, encouraging participation in art and culture, and supporting cultural activity. For these purposes the ECF runs an extensive program of grants, awarded to organizations. The Foundation itself coordinates a series of programs (complete list available at the website). |
