Founded by Romani women, Stowarzyszenie Kobiet Romskich aims to prevent the marginalization of Roma by encouraging the Romani community to become involved in social action. The association works to activate Romani people through involvement in local government initiatives, to disseminate knowledge of Romani history and culture, for example, or to achieve equal educational opportunities for children of Romani descent.
