The Rromano Kham Foundation (RKF) was established in 2001. Currently it has offices in London and Tirana, as well as a school in the Albanian village of Baltez, but it hopes to extend its activities to other Balkan nations. Its main objective is to guarantee educational opportunities on all levels for Romani children and youth. Where possible, RKF tries to extend its activities to children of other minority groups as well.

The Rromano Kham Foundation works for equal opportunities for Romani children and youth to participate in society. It helps youth develop a sense of the value of their ethnicity, and to express it without fear of humiliation. RKF also provides information about the needs of Romani children and youth to governmental and nongovernmental organizations. It combats discrimination and segregation in the school system, and ethnic and racial stereotypes among teachers and students.
