Intercultural Communication strives to promote research and education in the area of intercultural communication, aiming to facilitate dialogue and to prevent possible crises that could threaten communication. Its existence is based on the conviction that studying linguistic and cultural similarities and differences can play a very positive and constructive role.
The periodical originated from the activities of the Nordic Network for Intercultural Communication. It aims to encourage researchers to continue their studies and to share the results with colleagues. It provides the opportunity for papers to be critiqued by experts in the field.
