The Elijah Institute (EI) is an organization founded in Jerusalem in 1996, working for better understanding and shared reflection among different religions. The task of the three institutions, the Elijah School for the Study of Wisdom in World Religions, the Elijah Interfaith Academy, and the Elijah Educational Network, is to "build bridges of dialogue and cooperation."
The Elijah School for the Study of Wisdom in World Religions is a unique institution: an academic center in the full sense of the word but also a place where representatives of the greatest world religions meet and work together without prejudice.
The Elijah Interfaith Academy is a place for interfaith cooperation and dialogue. It organizes lectures, academic courses and seminars, and creates a space for theoreticians and religious leaders to examine the social impact of religious movements.
The Elijah Educational Network is the first-of-its-kind network for collaboration and exchange of experience in the domain of interfaith dialogue. It promotes Elijah Institute achievements around the world and co-organizes academic sessions and conferences.
The EI website includes many academic articles and educational materials.
