The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLCENTER) is a non-governmental organization which fights hate, intolerance and discrimination, through education and assistance in legal proceedings. The website contains examples of successful court cases related to human rights protection and fighting against "racial crimes", as well as useful information for lawyers dealing with such cases.
The organization offers advice, assists in research, and provides technical and financial support. A separate section is dedicated to the National Campaign for Tolerance, uniting about 5 million people taking initiatives against intolerance in their communities. Each member receives a guidebook containing practical tools for fighting hate and intolerance.
