The Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (RIIFS) is an academic center and research institute founded in Amman in 1996, under the patronage of Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan. RIIFS is a place for rational discussion about religion, Muslim-Christian relations (with a special focus on the role of Christianity in Arab societies), and religious and cultural diversity. Working together with similar research institutions around the world, RIIFS brings together research associates and young scholars. The Institute's work primarily involves organizing academic meetings and conferences, and publishing articles in areas such as religious studies, social science, and Islamic-Christian relations.
Twice a year, RIIFS publishes the Bulletin of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies (BRIIFS). This academic journal features articles by world-renowned scholars in the humanities. BRIIFS subscriptions can be ordered online. The website also contains basic educational materials about Islam and its relations with Christianity.
