Teaching for Change www.teachingforchange.org
Teaching for Change is an organization working to improve the American system of educating children and youth. Its primary goal is to introduce into the educational system issues of social inequality and to sensitize students to manifestations of discrimination. The organization's activities involve distributing teaching materials (given free of charge within the projects).

The Teaching for Change materials are in an online catalogue arranged by subject; resources useful in developing selected topics can be ordered (for payment) and shipped. The website also offers many links to organizations, associations, tolerance campaigns, and pages with articles about aspects of current events often neglected by mainstream media. Another purpose of the website is to expand curricula to include problematic contemporary events; for example, one of the pages offers teaching materials related to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and the war in Iraq.
