EUMC - European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia eumc.eu.int
The European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) collects, analyzes and provides the EU and its member states with objective and reliable comparative data on racism, xenophobia, islamophobia and antisemitism in Europe. It studies the scale, development, manifestations and consequences of these phenomena, and develops strategies against them. EUMC promotes good examples of initiatives promoting tolerance, respect for human rights, and democracy. The core of EUMC's operations is RAXEN, the European Information Network on Racism and Xenophobia, a network created to collect information at the national and European levels. It consists of 25 National Focal Points which collect, coordinate and disseminate information from EU countries.
