Verein für Zivilcourage und Anti-Rassismus-Arbeit (ZARA) provides legal advice, intervention and participation in court proceedings in Austria. The group consists of specialists in social work and legal aid. It offers assistance to witnesses as well as victims of rights violations. The organization also systematically documents all incidents of violence reported by witnesses and victims of aggression. ZARA workshops on discrimination provide factual information and endeavor to counteract racist tendencies. The advice offered by the association is free of charge.

The website includes recent reports about racial discrimination, essential information for victims of aggression, and notices of upcoming workshops.

Since September 2002, ZARA has been a member of the "Equal Chances at Work" project of the European EQUAL program which works to find ways of preventing discrimination and combatting its manifestations.
