In 1994, American movie director Steven Spielberg founded Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. The Foundation was created to record the personal testimonies of witnesses to the horrible events of the Holocaust. Survivors of the Shoah aims to fight prejudice and intolerance, using the visual materials collected by the Foundation. The organization has 52,000 recorded accounts in 32 languages from 56 countries.
