The Civic Club Foundation is an independent nongovernmental organization whose purpose is to promote and protect freedom and civil rights. The Club's activities support the development of democracy in Poland, and promote free-market economic ideas and Poland's integration with the European Union. Through educational activities, the Foundation also supports the struggle for equal opportunities for men and women. These initiatives are realized through the Foundation's programs and through free distribution of books in traditional and electronic formats. The programs use diverse educational formats, from debates and conferences to summer schools for students. The Foundation collaborates with many organizations worldwide.
