Wannsee Conference House (Haus der Wannsee-Konferenz) www.ghwk.de
The Wannsee Conference House Memorial and Educational Center is located in the building where, on January 20, 1942, under the chairmanship of Obergruppenfuehrer SS Reinhard Heydrich, 14 leading officials of the Reich ministerial apparatus and SS officers finalized the organizational details to implement an earlier decision to deport the Jews of Europe to the east and murder them en masse - the "final solution". The site of that meeting gave it its name, the Wannsee Conference.

Thanks to the efforts of the historian Joseph Wulf, the place has been made a memorial. On January 20, 1992, on the 50th anniversary of the Wannsee Conference, the building became a memorial and a center for historical education. The Internet site has a detailed history of the conference, photographs and translations of the original minutes of the conference, secret correspondence, and even invitations to the conference. There is a well-prepared section of links grouped by country and subject.
